YES TECH MT Delivers Reliable Outdoor Performance at DIFF 2026

The Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2026 is one of Vietnam’s largest international festivals and a signature summer event in Asia. Held under the theme “Da Nang – United Horizons,” the festival brought together 10 international fireworks teams from May 30 to July 11, 2026, culminating in a grand finale where Macedos Pirotecnia from Portugal was crowned the champion of DIFF 2026. During the 43-day festival, Da Nang welcomed a record 2.72 million visitors, further strengthening DIFF’s role as a major driver of tourism growth and the city’s international image.

Creating an Immersive Stage Experience

Held along Da Nang’s iconic waterfront, DIFF 2026 transformed the city’s riverside area into a spectacular open-air stage where fireworks, lighting, and digital visuals came together. For the central stage, 190㎡ of YES TECH MT transparent LED displays were installed as part of the overall stage design.

The stage featured a signature semi-circular arch structure as its visual centerpiece. Serving as the upper frame of the stage, the arch integrated lighting systems and event signage, creating a strong sense of openness and celebration — like a grand gateway to the fireworks world.

The stage was designed with an integrated mechanical lifting structure. When the stage was not in use between festival nights, it remained lowered along the waterfront, keeping the area open and unobstructed while minimizing prolonged exposure to outdoor elements. When an event began, the mechanical system smoothly raised the stage into position, transforming the riverside space into a dynamic performance venue.

Built for Demanding Riverside Environments

Located near the Han River Estuary, the DIFF venue is exposed to coastal influences, including high humidity, rainfall, and salt-laden air. These conditions can accelerate corrosion and create additional challenges for outdoor LED displays, especially for systems that remain installed for extended periods.

Reflecting on the event, the production team highlighted the reliability of the MT display: “The MT display remained stable throughout the entire month-long event, and the image quality and colors were outstanding. We had great confidence in the system and didn’t need to worry about unexpected issues during the show.”
